
Fashion model and designer Lauren Bush was born on June 25, 1984, in Houston, Texas. Her grandfather was the 41st President of the United States, George H.W. Bush, and her uncle was the 43rd President, George W. Bush. After studying fashion and design at Parsons The New School for Design in New York and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, she graduated from Princeton University in 2006. She has also worked as a model, appearing on the covers of Vogue and Vanity Fair, and appearing in advertisements for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Abercrombie & Fitch.
In 2004, she was appointed honorary spokesperson for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), and in 2007 she launched the bag brand "FEED." The brand concept is "by purchasing a bag, you can provide school meals to hungry children around the world." A portion of the sales is donated to children in Africa and elsewhere through the WFP's school meal program. In October last year, she visited Japan for the first time for a FEED event.
In her personal life, she married Ralph Lauren's son, David Lauren, in 2011, and became a much talked about celebrity couple.
