The Terrace, the international restaurant at The Westin Tokyo in Ebisu, Tokyo, will be hosting a "Strawberry Dessert Buffet" on weekdays only from January 4th to March 30th, 2018.


Of the always-popular dessert buffets, the "Strawberry Dessert Buffet" is especially popular due to its gorgeous design. Over the three-month period, a varied lineup will be offered, ranging from classic sweets combining nuts like pistachios and almonds, to refreshing ones using herbs like thyme, Japanese-style sweets using red beans and shiratama (rice flour dumplings), and salads combining vegetables.

In addition, this time, strawberry-based sweets from around the world will be available, including Eton Mess, a traditional British dessert made with meringue and fresh cream; Lassi, a yogurt-flavored drink from India; and Zabaione, a specialty dessert from Piedmont, Italy, made with eggs and Marsala wine. Taking advantage of the buffet format, we will offer a variety of ways to enjoy the charms of seasonal strawberries, from their gentle sweetness to their fresh, sweet and sour taste.
