Prada Men's Advertisement Featuring Three Actors, Rem Koolhaas's OMA Also Participates

Jun 28, 2013

Prada's advertising for its Fall/Winter 2013-2014 men's collection features actors Christoph Waltz, Ben Whishaw, and Ezra Miller. David Sims, a fashion and portrait photographer, shot the ad, drawing inspiration from 1960s New Wave cinema. The furniture featured in the ad was designed by OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture), an architectural design firm led by architect Rem Koolhaas. OMA began collaborating with Prada with the Spring/Summer 2007 collection, and has also worked on set designs for runway shows and lookbooks. Based on the theme "The Ideal House," which Prada also adopted for its Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collection, OMA uses chairs, cabinets, and other furniture from the 75-year-old furniture company Knoll.

A behind-the-scenes film from the shoot has also been released on the official Prada YouTube channel.
