Prada's Spring/Summer 2013 Campaign, Photographed by Steven Meisel and Featuring Saskia de Brauw and Others, is "Ultimate Simplicity"

Dec 25, 2012

Fashion photographer Steven Meisel shot the images for Prada's Spring/Summer 2013 campaign.

The Spring/Summer 2013 collection focuses on the complex, multifaceted nature of women's personalities, with the theme of "Ultimate Simplicity." Eleven models, including Vanessa Axente and Saskia de Brauw, were featured in a series of portraits highlighting their individual personalities.

Floral motifs are repeated throughout the collection, from panel prints on silk satin dresses to appliqués on wrap dresses and embellishments on eyewear, but the message is not girlish or flashy, but confident individuality, a reflection of Prada's new interpretation of the feminine.
