Following the success of its "O'Lock" fashion jewelry, which quickly became the Maison's new signature following its debut last year, FENDI, the luxury brand based in Rome, will be releasing the "O'Lock" bag in its Fall/Winter 2022 women's collection, sublimating the motif into leather goods.
Designed by Jewelry Artistic Director Delfina Delettrez Fendi, the "O'Lock" bag evolves the Maison's iconic "FF" logo into a feminine oval design based on a modern, graphic carabiner shape. The maxi "O'Lock" chain, a bold mix of two-tone metal and tortoiseshell effects, is a key marker of the bag, defining two fashion-forward new styles: "O'Lock Swing" and "O'Lock Zip."
Featuring a minimalist, sleek silhouette inspired by the '90s, "O'Lock Swing" embodies the Maison's essential "under-the-arm" style, while retaining a fresh yet timeless sensibility for a perfect match with contemporary trends. True to its name, its swing-like silhouette can be effortlessly carried under the arm or worn as a clutch, with a practical zipper closure. The bag is crafted in the season's color palette, from smooth black and beige leather to the iconic "FF" logo tapestry. It also features a detachable leather strap, allowing the "O'Lock" chain to be worn on the bag or around the wrist. The bag is also available in pied de pour fabric with leather straps adorned with Orlock metal details, and in leather accented with precious fox fur.
The larger, softer Orlock Zip bag features a detachable short leather strap and the same signature chunky chain, which is longer than the Orlock Swing. A zip closure and multiple interior pockets combine style and functionality. The signature FENDI ROMA gold metal logo defines the front of the bag, while FF tapestry and two-tone fox print perfectly reflect the spirit of the Fall/Winter 2022 women's collection. The Orlock Swing will be available from mid-July 2022, and the Orlock Zip from early September 2022, at Fendi stores nationwide and the official online store, fendi.com.
