© Sophie DelaporteAstier de Villatte has published his first art book, "DRAWINGS" (7,000 yen), in collaboration with the multitalented artist Lou Doillon.
In "DRAWINGS," singer and actress Lou Doillon reveals her unique and exceptional world, unconstrained by trends and conventional ideas, with sure and delicate lines, and has blossomed as a painter. Featuring over 60 works, the book's main subject is her own body, an object she is particularly passionate about and continues to paint through repeated studies. Viewed from above, her own body, clad in unusual clothing and shoes, is her most amenable subject. She is willing to pose motionless for hours, and it is also the object of endless visual research, offering endless possibilities for exploration, almost to the point of constructing a world of its own. Her paintings, meditating on the visible world, captivate with their inherent beauty.
