Dolce & Gabbana held a runway show featuring millennial models at the Isetan Shinjuku store after closing time on October 4th, and announced "MILLENNIALS DOLCE & GABBANA TOKYO."

Dolce & Gabbana is currently holding an advance sale event for Japan-exclusive items at The Stage on the first floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. On October 4th, the first day of the brand's launch, a large-scale, approximately 20-minute fashion show was held on the first floor of the main building of the Isetan Shinjuku store after closing time. Many guests, including millennials, were invited to enjoy the collection, which combined Dolce & Gabbana's craftsmanship with the creativity of millennials, who have been designated as the "generation that represents the future."
The unique pieces were crafted from carefully selected materials. Each one was a one-of-a-kind piece, adorned with intricate embroidery and sequins. The look was completed with flower head accessories, crown-motif jewelry, and sneakers personalized with studs and patches. Inspired by streetwear and tailoring, the unique men's pieces were powerful and young, incorporating Japanese fashion trends from the 1980s.




Dolce & Gabbana can truly be called pioneers, having been the first to focus on millennials before other brands. At the secret show for their 2018 Spring/Summer collection held in Milan in September this year, they attracted attention by using millennials, who are attracting attention from all walks of life, as models, including icons and influencers who have become popular on social media.

Representing Japan's millennials this time were artist Chay, actress and model Matsui Airi, models Mannami Yuka and Emma, actors attracting attention such as Ohno Takuro and Ryusei Ryo, and influencers, for a total of 101 people, approximately 50 men and 50 women. Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, who were visiting Japan, also appeared with the models for the finale, bringing the special show to a spectacular close.

All of the looks presented on the runway this time were one-of-a-kind special pieces, and have been on display at Isetan Shinjuku since October 6th.
