Wako Main Store is known as a Ginza landmark. Its clock tower is the second generation, completed in 1932. This year, 2022, marks the 90th anniversary of its completion and the 75th anniversary of the founding of Wako Co., Ltd. To commemorate the clock tower's 90th anniversary, we are introducing a Persian carpet specially designed and produced by the Solemaniyeh Fini workshop in Iran.

Clock Tower 90th Anniversary Limited Edition 2,090,000 yen including tax (100% silk, approx. 80 x 105 cm, basement of the main store)
Clock Tower 90th Anniversary Limited Edition 2,090,000 yen including tax (100% silk, approx. 80 x 105 cm, basement of the main store)
Yadegar (Commemorative) Silk Smack Woven Carpet
The word "prosperity" was the inspiration that Solemanie Finny Atelier came up with in relation to the 90th anniversary of the Clock Tower. Inspired by this beautiful water, a carpet with a blue base was woven using plant-dyed silk. The arabesque pattern is inspired by the clock tower's design, and in the center is a palmette design inspired by the date palm tree, which has been revered as a sacred tree since Mesopotamian times. This piece expresses the desire for prosperity and permanence, as well as the clock tower's 90-year history and future steps.
Clock Tower 90th Anniversary Limited Edition, 770,000 yen including tax (100% wool, approx. 97 x 145 cm, basement of the main store)
Clock Tower 90th Anniversary Limited Edition, 770,000 yen including tax (100% wool, approx. 97 x 145 cm, basement of the main store)
Wool pile woven carpet "Tarikh (History)"
The design is inspired by the lattice motif of the windows of the Wako main store. In addition to the traditional patterns of Kashan, Iran, where the carpet is made, it is decorated with ivy patterns, which symbolize eternity, and gorgeous floral and cypress motifs. The edges feature the arabesque pattern used on the windows of the main store, designed to resemble a dragon and snake, which are said to ward off evil. A pomegranate pattern, which is a symbol of fertility and prosperity, has also been added.
