On July 1, ANREALAGE opened the "ANREALAGE Flagship Store" on the first floor of its headquarters in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo. The store occupies one floor. It offers a full lineup of women's and men's items, including collection lines unveiled at the Paris Fashion Week, as well as basic items, accessories, small items, shoes, and limited-edition items based on the collection's theme. The store is a relocation of the flagship store, which had been in operation in Jingumae, Shibuya Ward, for seven years. The second and third floors house the atelier, press room, and planning office. The interior, designed by YUSUKE SEKI and constructed by TANK, features thread, the origin of clothing, as its main material. All of the clothes are hung on threads resembling hanger racks. When customers pick up clothes from the racks, the threads, the origin of the clothing, change, and the shape changes over time, creating a space where architectural and clothing elements coexist. The bluish-white walls emphasize the light, shadow, and shading that the brand has expressed in its collections. The first limited-edition item is a 17-year reissue of a hand-printed T-shirt featuring "an REAL UNDER THE UNREAL," a theme first announced by Kunihiko Morinaga back when the brand didn't even have a name. Each T-shirt is individually hand-printed by the original staff, and each one is individually numbered. Transcending the opposing concepts of front and back, top and bottom, the T-shirt features "an REAL UNDER THE UNREAL" printed across the front and back, a design that only comes into its own when folded front and back. Available in black, white, and gray, the T-shirt is priced at ¥9,000. Limited quantities are available while supplies last. Morinaga said, "I searched for a place where I could make things upstairs and sell them downstairs. I want to create a collection that inspires people to continue in this direction."
