The "Basket and Strainer Exhibition" will be held again this year at Kotogoto in Koenji. Summer items made from natural materials by Matsunoya and Kochosai Kosuge will be on display.

Cotogoto, a handicraft and lifestyle goods store in Koenji, Tokyo, will be holding the "Baskets and Colander Exhibition - Summer Tools Made from Natural Materials" from July 21st to August 8th, featuring a selection of tools to help keep your life cool.

The exhibition will feature around 120 items made from natural materials from all over Japan, including akebi basket bags perfect for the upcoming season, bamboo storage baskets, and colanders and cutlery to decorate your dining table. For a limited time, products from Matsunoya, Ichikawa Shoten, Kochosai Kosuge, Chikufusha, Chikuseido, Tsuruya Shoten, and others will also be available.

In addition, bamboo craftsman Seiji Emi will be welcoming a workshop to make bamboo flower baskets, "Learn how to make small green bamboo baskets and learn about bamboo from Seiji Emi" (participation fee: 4,500 yen/reservation required), which will be held four times on July 22nd and 23rd from 11am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 3:30pm, with a limit of six people per session.
