Gucci is launching its first interior design collection, "Gucci Décor."
The idea behind this collection, "items that allow for the free customization of living spaces," is based on the philosophy of Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele. Similar to the current "Gucci DIY" program, spaces can be personalized by customizing decorations and details.
The ceramics in the collection are made by Richard Ginori, a historic porcelain manufacturer founded in Florence in 1735. They feature a green and white herbarium print and a variety of ceramic accessories. Other items include candle holders adorned with Gucci's iconic GG pattern, geometric patterns, vibrant solid pink, and eye motifs, as well as pots and incense holders with lids featuring three-dimensional motifs of Gucci Garden bees, butterflies, and chickens. The candles and incense come in four scents that subtly fill the space: Inventum, which blends the delicate scent of damask rose with the rare and sensual scent of turf rose; Fumus, which blends the rich scent of birch with fruity orange leaves and beeswax; Herbosum, a fresh blend of tomato leaves with aromatic herbs such as basil and lemongrass; and Esotericum, a complex blend of bitter Seville orange with jasmine, leather and salt.

Other scents include metal trays in vibrant colors and prints, vanity chairs and high-backed dining chairs finished in bright floral jacquards and silver details, and folding screens that decoratively divide living spaces.

In addition, for those who want to further customize their space, three types of original wallpaper are available: silk, vinyl, and paper. These wallpapers feature the postcard design featured in the 2017 Pre-Fall collection and the floral pattern featured in the 2015-16 Fall/Winter collection. Of these, the most special is the silk wallpaper featuring the iconic floral print designed by Alessandro.

The collection will be available at Gucci flagship stores and the official online store worldwide from this fall.
