The highly anticipated second street food festival, "Gourmet Street Food Vol.2 - Tokyo Gourmet Food Stalls," will be held at the United Nations University in Aoyama, Tokyo, on July 22nd and 23rd. Over 30 gourmet street food trucks from all over Japan will gather, and under the motto, "Great cities are sure to have great street food," the event aims to build a new food culture with the unconventional style and free-spirited ideas that only the streets can offer. Among the food trucks and merchandise booths, which change daily, will be a guest truck from "Tokyo Taiwan," a popular creative Taiwanese restaurant recently opened in Nakameguro. Limited-edition items will be available on both days, including "boiled dumplings" with original skins and a special fruit-marinated sauce, and "lu rou fan," a dish made with three types of slow-cooked pork, Shaoxing wine-marinated eggs, and pickled greens. Also available this year are the popular tasting tickets, which will be on sale again. The price is 1,500 yen per ticket, and you can enjoy three small portions of food and drink.

You can also enjoy a summer festival-like atmosphere with workshops where you can silkscreen print designs created by MANUAL for the event onto T-shirts and tote bags on the spot, as well as music performances.
