On July 11th, Stella McCartney held a preview of its Fall/Winter 2017-18 men's collection and Spring 2018 women's collection, titled "World of Stella," as well as a rooftop party, at the Andaz Tokyo in Toranomon, Tokyo.
This marked the brand's first time presenting its entire collection in Tokyo. A special set was created to reflect the mood of the collection, with a panoramic view of downtown Tokyo. Models appeared wearing the latest women's and men's wear, accessories, Adidas by Stella McCartney swimwear, and eyewear.
The men's collection, presented in a section featuring arcade games, darts, and neon signs, showcased styles inspired by British menswear, ranging from boy-next-door nonchalance to provocative sartorialism. Models dressed in items symbolizing British culture, such as tartan coats, mod suits, and oversized knitwear boldly featuring punkish animal motifs, played mini-golf at landmarks in the UK and Japan. The women's collection, meanwhile, showcased the individuality of the models as they played mini-golf at landmarks in the UK and Japan. Japanese models Miki Ehara and Rina Fukushi also participated, playing golf in denim jumpsuits, jacquard dresses, and skirts emblazoned with the message "All is Love." The latest collection was unveiled in a happy, natural atmosphere, with the models exuding natural expressions. Many celebrities, including models Rina Ota, Kozue Akimoto, Mari Natsuki, Mademoiselle Yulia, Mika Ninagawa, Christel Takigawa, Fuyuko Matsui, and Harry Sugiyama, attended the event, celebrating a special night with Stella McCartney, who was in Japan for the occasion, and fully immersing themselves in the brand's worldview.
