Beautiful People has unveiled its 2018 Pre-Spring Collection. This season's theme was blending opposing elements and erasing boundaries. Starting with a punk shirt made with fabric from Thomas Mason, a long-established shirtmaker that also holds a purveyor to the British Royal Family, the collection's approach overturns stereotypes in a variety of ways, including bottoms with complex patterns that combine elements of both pants and skirts, ambiguous patterns that resemble stripes and checks, and pieces with slits that reverse the relationship between outerwear and innerwear, creating new layering styles. The brand also collaborated with British brand George Cox to present a pair of lace-up shoes reminiscent of traditional Japanese geta sandals. These shoes are scheduled to be released exclusively at the brand's own stores in late January 2018.
