BRICK & MORTAR, a lifestyle shop in Nakameguro, Tokyo, will be holding the "Kataruta Exhibition" from July 29th to August 10th to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the launch of Kataruta.
"Kataruta," a card set created by Kazuto Fukumoto of MedLab, is designed to help enrich conversations and ideas. Each of the 54 playing cards features a word, such as a conjunction or particle, printed on it.
The event will display and sell the entire Kataruta lineup, including new releases, as well as collaborative merchandise with the shop. Items on the lineup include the "New Edition Kataruta Card Set #8 Standard/Japanese Edition" (¥2,200) and the "Kataruta Bandana B&M Model" (¥2,000), a bandana that doubles as a card stand. Additionally, all previous Kataruta releases will be on display, showcasing the product's history from its development through to its 5th anniversary.
In addition, a workshop (participation fee: 2,000 yen) featuring short story writer Tamaru Masatomo will be held from 7pm on August 4th. Registration will close once capacity is reached.
