MAN TOKYO, the Tokyo version of the Paris joint exhibition MAN, will be held from July 29th to August 1st at the Meiji Memorial Hall (2-2-23 Motoakasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo). It will be open from 10am to 6pm, and until 3pm on the final day. MAN was launched in 2012 by Antoine Floch, Romain Bernardie-James, and Olivier Migda, who were also involved in the founding and production of other famous Paris joint exhibitions, Capsule and Rendez Vous. Committed to the quality and originality of the exhibiting brands, MAN carefully selects only a few dozen from the world's fashion brands. Approximately 50 brands will participate in MAN TOKYO, including Commune de Paris, Marcomonde, Oniki Umit Benan, Universal Works, HOBO, and FOLK. This marks MAN TOKYO's second international launch, following its first in New York in July 2014. Going forward, the event is planned to be held twice a year.
In addition, to commemorate MAN's arrival in Japan, a pop-up stand will be set up at EDIFICE TOKYO in Jingumae from July 25th to August 3rd. Visuals and items will be on sale, including 100 limited-edition parrot-patterned T-shirts (5,800 yen each in white and black), which MAN has created in collaboration with various artists each season.
