Tower Records released a limited-edition collaboration with Charles Schulz's popular comic strip "PEANUTS," "Snoopy x TOWER RECORDS 2013," on December 12th. Snoopy is the company's winter sale character this year. The "Snoopy x TOWER RECORDS 2013" lineup includes two towels, two stuffed toys, two A4 clear files, two tin badges, a glass, a plate (with stand), a lidded mug, two outdoor mugs, and five T-shirts. They feature illustrations of Snoopy and his friends playing music. The towels, A4 clear files, and tin badges are available at all Tower Records and Tower Mini stores and on Tower Records Online. The other items are only available at the following select stores and Tower Records Online. The two stuffed toys are available at Tower Records Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Tower Mini Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit. Five types of T-shirts are available at Tower Records Shibuya (including Shibuya-exclusive colors), Shinjuku, and Tower Mini Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit.

Glasses, plates, lidded mugs, and two types of outdoor mugs are available at Tower Records Sapporo Pivo, Sendai Parco, Shibuya (outdoor mugs available in Shibuya-exclusive colors), Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Akihabara, Kichijoji, Machida, Kawasaki, Urawa, Kashiwa, Shizuoka, Nagoya Parco, Nagoya Kintetsu Passe, Umeda Osaka Marubiru, Namba, Umeda NU Chayamachi, Abeno Hoop, Kyoto, Kobe, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Amu Plaza Hakata, and Tower Mini Tokyo Yaesu Exit.

Peanuts, a comic series that began serialization in seven American newspapers in 1950, is currently published in 2,200 newspapers in 75 countries and 21 languages. As a pop culture icon, he has many connections to modern culture, and phrases such as "Security Blanket" and "Good Grief" have become globally recognized. A Snoopy exhibition is being held at the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Roppongi Hills until January 5, 2014.
