Hermès' new women's director is a female designer who has worked at Margiela and Celine

Hermès has announced that Nadége Vanhee-Cybulski will succeed Christophe Lemaire as artistic director of women's ready-to-wear. Nadége, 36, is French. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 2003, she worked at Maison Martin Margiela from 2005 to 2008. She then gained experience at Celine and The Row, the label run by the Olsen sisters. She will join the brand's production team from the Autumn/Winter 2015 collection. Her first collection will be released in March 2015. Upon her appointment as director, Nadége commented, "I am happy to be working at Hermès, a company whose values I share deeply with and respect." Hermès CEO Axel Dumas said in a statement, "Her talent and experience will bring further development to the Maison's women's ready-to-wear line."
