Adidas Originals will release a reissue model (priced at ¥26,000) to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Micropacer.
This faithful reproduction of the original 1984 model, the first shoe ever to combine technology and performance, features a lustrous silver upper with striking bright blue three stripes.
The functionality that led to its description as a "revolution in track and field" remains intact, with a digital LCD microcomputer embedded in the left shoe tongue acting as a pedometer, stopwatch, calorie counter, and more, allowing athletes to monitor their training.
The model will be available at Adidas Originals shops nationwide and the Adidas online shop on August 16th.
