Nike Sportswear will release the "Women's Nike Sportswear Spring 2015 City Collection" on March 8th. The collection features six new models of the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra (priced at ¥18,000 each). Focusing on six iconic cities known for attracting large numbers of runners, the collection features flowers representative of each city. Each pair features two different flowers, incorporating them into a single design pattern. The first pair features New York and Paris. The "Paris" model features a design pattern featuring roses and lilies, symbolizing each city, in pale Rococo pastel colors. Meanwhile, the "New York" model features a monochrome color scheme, reflecting the beloved black and modern cityscape of the region. The second pair features Tokyo and London, featuring cherry blossoms and roses. The "Tokyo" model features a different shade of indigo. Meanwhile, the "London" model features a contrasting color scheme with a fiery red, and the black background evokes the image of Gothic architecture.
The final pair is Milan and Shanghai, with the lily making a comeback as the flower associated with Milan. Meanwhile, the plum blossom is representative of Shanghai, and the bright red of the "Shanghai" model creates an oriental atmosphere. Meanwhile, the "Milan" model uses a pale bronze color that evokes the Renaissance.
These sneakers, along with the "Nike City Tee" T-shirt, will be released as part of the City Collection. They will be available at the official online shop, Nike retail stores, and select Nike Sportswear retailers.
