sacai has collaborated with Nike to release the women's sportswear collection "NikeLab x sacai" globally in late March. This collection fully showcases sacai's unique approach to subverting classic, timeless garments and hybridizing masculine and feminine elements. The collection features playful designs, including contrasting textures like knitwear and delicate woven fabrics. Sacai designer Chitose Abe has focused on Nike's material innovations and designs that incorporate movement, interpreting them with her unique style. "I'm always inspired by classics. Traditional silhouettes and ideas often originate in sportswear, but working with them has inspired me to combine different materials and shapes to create new, easy-to-wear hybrids," she says. The silhouettes are based on traditional Nike men's styles, transformed into a style that is both feminine and modern.
