La Maison du Chocolat, a luxury chocolate maker in Paris, has released three new products for its Easter collection.
The collection is inspired by geese that migrate to France every year during Easter. It includes a travel bag made of exotic leather, evoking the image of a goose resting on its wings along the way. An intricately crafted clasp and lock protect the egg-shaped pralines inside.
The pralines available this time come in four flavors, with textures such as hazelnuts and crêpes d'entelles. Six types of chocolate, including milk and dark fritures, are packed into the bag as Easter tricks.
The largest of the lineup, "Escal Pascal" (16,125 yen), features a goose with a humorous expression on a bed of milk chocolate. With a suitcase placed next to her, and a milk chocolate scarf fluttering in the wind, she looks as if she's about to take to the sky.
Other items in the lineup include "Petite Plume" (11,000 yen), which comes with a choice of milk or dark chocolate goose, and "Oeufs Aviatour" (5,000 yen), an Easter egg dressed up with aviator glasses and a scarf. These items will only be available at the five direct sales stores in Japan, with the online boutique also selling Easter-exclusive items.
