Jean-Paul Hevin will be releasing a limited-time collection for Easter from March 25th to May 6th. Easter (pack) is considered the second biggest event in France after Christmas. This collection is based on Jean-Paul Hevin's theme for this season, "Folie Douce (Sweet Madness)," and incorporates humorous elements born from French wordplay. "OEuf Noeud-noeud" (3,680 yen) represents the other meaning of "Noeud-noeud," which means ribbon, meaning "silly person," through Easter eggs. Decorated with multiple ribbons, the slightly over-the-top eggs contain chocolates shaped like various animals. Furthermore, in "Poule Noeud-noeud" (3,200 yen), chocolates shaped like eggs emerge from the stomach of a chicken adorned with a large ribbon.
Meanwhile, "Oeuf Boule" (3,680 yen) expresses madness by creating a giant egg from countless colorful eggs, and is filled with pearl-like "Perle Craquant Chocolat Melange" and egg-shaped chocolate. "OEuf Fou de Crevettes" (3,680 yen) is an Easter egg carved with the silhouette of a "Crevette," which also means "fool," and sea creatures such as fish and turtles pop out.
Also available is "OEuf" (922 yen), a lifelike egg-shaped chocolate. Both are shaped like traditional motifs such as eggs and chickens, but are infused with Evan's playful spirit.
The lineup also includes the animal-themed "Animaux Noir/Lait" (418 yen each) and the egg-shaped "Oeuf Noir/Lait" (418 yen each). These are filled with hazelnut-based praline and almond cream coated in chocolate. Additionally, "Animo" (2,508 yen) and "Friture" (1,260 yen) are available as assortments of both items.
In addition, "Chasse a l'oeuf" (3,300 yen), a chocolate in a tin that lets you enjoy the feeling of an egg hunt, and "Tout Paques" (4,203 yen), which brings all the chocolates in the collection together in one package, include the "Perle Craquant Chocolat Melange" chocolate, which is also used in the Easter egg "Oeuf Beurre." There will also be a box that combines the classic bonbon chocolate with a heart-shaped guimauve and limited edition chocolates.
Available at Isetan Shinjuku Main Store, Tokyo Midtown Store, Mitsukoshi Ginza Store, Omotesando Hills Store, Mitsukoshi Sendai Store, Isetan Urawa Store, JR Osaka Mitsukoshi Isetan Store, Hiroshima Andersen Store, Iwataya Main Store, and the brand's official online shop. During the collection's sales period, the adjacent eat-in space "Bar à Chocolat" will be offering a limited-time menu "Menu Folie Douf" (1,420 yen), which allows you to enjoy a set of "oeuf" and a drink.
