LAILA TOKIO has released a vintage Tiffany & Co. accessory collection. LAILA TOKIO is a concept shop that combines vintage items from classic fashion houses with designer and creative pieces selected from Japan and abroad. This time, the store will be selling Elsa Peretti pieces, including the "Bone Cuff," which the store has been collecting as an archive. Born in 1940 to a distinguished Florentine family, Elsa Peretti began her career as a model in the 1960s while studying Gaudi's architecture in Barcelona. She moved to New York in the 1970s and developed close ties with cultural figures such as artist Andy Warhol. After designing her first jewelry for Giorgio Santangelo's collection, she became an in-house designer for Tiffany & Co. in 1974. Her jewelry gained popularity after being featured in the US magazine Newsweek.
All of Elsa's bold and original jewelry is inspired by her own memories, vague recollections, and motifs from the natural world, and is made with the utmost craftsmanship. In addition, her belief is that "style should be simple," and her jewelry is characterized by minimalist designs that have been stripped of unnecessary details. The price range is from 60,000 to 120,000 yen.
