Tiffany & Co. will release a new watch collection, the "Tiffany CT60," on April 2nd.
This collection is inspired by the brand's founder, Charles Lewis Tiffany, who installed a 9-foot-tall Atlas Clock on the facade of his New York store in 1953. Since then, this clock has continued to tick away the "New York Minute" as a public timepiece for New Yorkers.
Furthermore, by adding New York to the name, the collection expresses the rhythm of modern life that originates in the city and spreads throughout the world, as well as the history of energy and innovation that flows through the "New York Minute."
The pure, clean lines of the watch are inspired by the brand's gold watch, produced in 1945. This model was a gift from then-President Franklin D. Roosevelt to his son, and the CT60 embodies this transition from classic to modern.
