mintdesigns will publish its first collection, "MINTDESIGNS" (¥3,800), in late April.
This visual book summarizes the brand's 13-year history. It features every collection from its founding in 2001 to the present. It features acclaimed textile designs, graphic work such as direct mail, as well as papercuts and collages from the production process.
To commemorate the book's release, the brand has created silk scarves (¥23,000) featuring archived patterns from the brand's inception to its latest SS15 collection. The lineup includes 10 models, each of which evokes the brand's history.
From May 20 to June 2, the original prints will be exhibited alongside the scarves at the TOKYO Kaihoku (Liberation Zone) on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. Small items featuring the same archived patterns, such as dresses, tops, bags, and pouches, will also be available for purchase.
