Chanel unveils 2015 Spring/Summer bag campaign "3 Girls 3 Bags"

Mar 4, 2015

CHANEL has revealed details of its advertising campaign for its Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The three campaign images focus on three of the brand's signature bags. Models include Kristen Stewart, Alice Dellal, and Vanessa Paradis. Photographed by designer Karl Lagerfeld, the images are from the brand's own collection. Previously, Kristen appeared in the advertising campaign for the Paris Dallas Métiers d'Art collection. This time, she appears as the face of Lagerfeld's "11.12" handbag. The campaign image features the "11.12" bag, crafted from lambskin with herringbone quilting. Kristen, dressed in a silk crepe suit and a white T-shirt underneath, exudes a youthful, urban vibe, evoking the bag's timeless appeal.

Vanessa Paradis, a frequent model for Chanel, will also be representing the latest collection, "Girl Chanel." The visuals capture Paradis's unconventional, natural beauty, clad only in a lambskin "Girl Chanel" bag and a pearl necklace.

Paradis commented on the bag's appeal, "I love how it's so gentle and blends perfectly with both clothing and skin."

On the other hand, the "Boy Chanel" handbag, with its iconic "double C" clasp, stands alongside Alice Dellal's stylish, punk charm. Alice, who has been a campaign model for this bag since its launch, appeared in a loose suede shirt. Wearing a denim patchwork bag, she expressed the masculine and feminine sensibilities of the item.

Alice, who regularly wears Boy Chanel, said of the bag, "I like to wear the Boy Chanel crossbody. It's inspired by the ammunition bags used by hunters, so that's the right way to wear it. It's the only bag I can comfortably pair with casual outfits."
