UNIQLO will release the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter collection, the final collection for its children's collaboration line with UNDERCOVER, "UU." The children's line, co-designed by UNDERCOVER designer Jun Takahashi and RICO, is based on the theme of "clothes that allow kids to be kids, clothes that children all over the world can enjoy wearing." The collection features 17 styles and 40 colors and patterns. Based on the concepts of "sports mix" for boys and "college style" for girls, the collection is crafted using functional materials suited to children playing outside. Outerwear and cardigans feature lightweight and warm fleece, while shirts are made with DRY-EX, an ultra-quick-drying material that quickly absorbs and disperses sweat to keep you comfortable. Other designs include leopard-print outerwear, quilted vests, and turtleneck tunics that combine knitwear and fleece for a comfortable, adult-worthy look. On the other hand, to give a sense of childlike quality to the edgy designs, the blousons and sweatshirts are printed with cute Apple characters drawn by Jun Takahashi.
