Tokyo City View in Roppongi Hills will host a number of events with the theme of "Watching Tokyo in Autumn" from September 28th to November 1st.
The Tokyo City View Lounge, a panoramic lounge 250 meters above sea level, will be located on the 52nd floor observation deck of Mori Tower. Three events will be held, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the "Autumn of Reading, Autumn of Art, and Autumn of Appetite" while overlooking Tokyo.
The "Photo Lounge," held from October 5th to November 1st, will feature an exhibition of photographs taken from Tokyo City View by photographer Ryoichi Aratani. There will also be a photo contest open to anyone, showcasing landscape photos taken from Tokyo City View. There are four planned periods, with submissions for the first period running from October 1st to December 31st. Winning photos will be used in promotional photos for Tokyo City View, and prizes will include Olympus digital cameras. Also from October 5th to November 1st, the Book Lounge, produced by the mobile bookstore BOOK TRUCK, will be available. It will feature approximately 300 carefully selected books, including photo collections and guidebooks, based on four themes: "Rediscovering Tokyo," "Tokyo Then and Now as Seen in Magazines," "Tokyo's Blue Skies and Starry Skies," and "Tokyo's Architecture and Landscapes." Couple seats are also available in the lounge, where classical jazz plays, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy a book in a calm atmosphere. From September 28th to December 25th, the Ruinart Champagne Lounge will be open, offering views of Tokyo while enjoying Ruinart champagne. In addition to champagne, snacks such as "Basque Pork Prosciutto with Arugula Selvatico" and "Three Kinds of Yoshida Farm Cheese" will also be available. In addition to the "Tokyo City View Lounge" on the 52nd floor, the Champagne Mori Tower rooftop sky deck will host the "Mid-Autumn Moon Viewing Party" on September 27th only, where you can admire the harvest moon. You can enjoy the full moon at your leisure while listening to commentary from an astronomy expert. Other content available will include the "Tokyo City View Guide," a new and innovative app that lets you virtually enjoy the view from the observation deck, and "TOKYO Monogatari," a video filled with the history and charm of Tokyo.
