The appeal of suits from Isetan Men's, from Ermenegildo Zegna, Etro, Brioni to the popular Tom Sweeney.

The International Luxury Floor on the 4th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building is focusing on suits this fall and winter as part of a Mitsukoshi Isetan Original (ONLY MI) project, reflecting the changing concept of suits in men's fashion. The project proposes new ways to enjoy the mainstream men's suit, incorporating minimalist details and clean fabrics reminiscent of military fashion, the origins of menswear. The exhibition will feature a luxurious three-piece (3P) style from the Mitsukoshi Isetan Original (ONLY MI) and a Missoni knit suit. This marks the fourth season under Stefano Pilati as creative director of Ermenegildo Zegna Couture. The concept of the "Broken Suit" from his "Couture" line is to coordinate top and bottom pieces made from different fabric patterns in the same color tone. From a distance, the patterns appear to be the same, but when you zoom in, they are subtly different, creating a trompe l'oeil-like visual effect that suggests a playful, grown-up style. The three-piece Mitsukoshi Isetan originals include a blue-gray micro-check 100% wool jacket (¥431,000), blue-gray striped 100% wool trousers (¥162,000), and a grey-gray micro-check vest (¥194,000) made of 93% wool and 7% silk, each offering a slim fit that can be enjoyed individually.

After offering bright colors for the past few seasons, ETRO this season is taking on a more masculine image with muted tones, centered around navy. The three-piece proposal features a navy and blue chalk stripe suit (¥250,000) made of slightly thick flannel fabric, paired with a four-button vest (¥96,000). The lining, of course, is paisley in the same color, a touch unique to ETRO. Brioni, known for its premium fabrics and high-end comfort, offers a navy and gray micro-check three-piece suit (730,000 yen) exclusively at Isetan Mitsukoshi, which appears to be solid navy from a distance. The warm, lustrous wool creates a flowing, elegant style that's perfect for both business and evening wear. The GAETANO jacket, the brand's slimmest silhouette, is paired with pants that appear pleated but feature dart tucks for a comfortable three-piece suit. Dunhill, a brand representing classic British style, offers a lightweight flannel three-piece suit (372,000 yen). Made of 90% wool and 10% cashmere, it's soft to the touch and luxuriously comfortable. The double-breasted waistcoat is a cropped length, making it suitable for evening wear as well. Founded in Padua, Northern Italy in 1964, BELVEST is renowned for its exceptional capabilities among the many Italian factories. Crafting suits for a variety of fashion houses, its hybrid blend of handwork and machine work is a testament to the history of Italian ready-to-wear. This fall/winter season, Isetan Mitsukoshi is offering a navy-based striped three-piece suit (390,000 yen), which adds a vest to the brand's classic international model 645 suit. THOM SWEENY, the British tailors Tom and Luke, opened a bespoke tailoring shop in Mayfair, London in 2007. Now in their third season at Isetan Shinjuku, they have offered three models exclusively at Isetan Mitsukoshi. The eye-catching "electric blue" three-piece suit (¥330,000) features a deep U-cut vest reminiscent of the traditional cummerbund and flared cuffs, evoking James Bond-inspired details. Other styles, including a chalk stripe three-piece suit (¥360,000) and a glen plaid three-piece suit (¥360,000), a trendy item this year, are sure to catch your eye as they modernize traditional British styles. Finally, we present a suit style by Missoni, exclusively for Isetan Mitsukoshi, featuring knitwear, a trend that has been gaining popularity over the past few seasons. The navy and gray striped jacket (¥370,000) made from a wool, cotton, and nylon blend, paired with pants (¥180,000) in the same material, offers the ultimate in comfort. This luxurious style, typical of Missoni, combines knit pants, a key item this season, with a suit.
