As the second part of Alexander Wang's 10th anniversary project, the brand has teamed up with the American nonprofit organization "Do Something" to create a charity project and produce a collaborative collection. The collection will be available in Japan at the Alexander Wang Aoyama store from September 12th. Thirty-eight celebrities, including Kate Moss and Kanye West, participated in the charity project. They posed for portraits wearing a hoodie (13,000 yen) and a T-shirt (8,000 yen) designed by Alexander Wang and featuring the brand's collaboration with "Do Something." The portraits were creatively directed by Pascal Dangin of KiDS Creative, which also handles Alexander Wang campaigns, and photographed by Steven Klein. The hoodies and T-shirts went on sale at Alexander Wang's New York store and official online store from September 1st and immediately sold out. In Japan, they were released at Alexander Wang's Aoyama store from September 12th to coincide with the launch of the 10-year Capsule Collection, a reissued capsule collection commemorating the brand's 10th anniversary. 50% of product sales will be donated to "Do Something" and will be used for youth funds and the organization's general activities.
