Taiwanese shaved ice shop ICE MONSTER will be holding its first Halloween event from October 24th to November 1st. It also announced that it will be releasing a new Japan-exclusive autumn menu item, "Almond Shaved Ice" (1,200 yen including tax), starting October 9th.

ICE MONSTER's first Halloween event, which begins on October 24th, will see the interior of the shop transformed into a "Monster House" and decorated for Halloween. Furthermore, on Halloween day, October 31st, customers who come dressed in costume and order mango shaved ice will receive an upgrade to a "monster-grade" shaved ice that is not normally available.

The "Almond Shaved Ice," a Japan-exclusive autumn menu item, is made by shaving a flavored ice block packed with the aroma and subtle sweetness of almonds, garnished with lychee, black sesame ice cream, and brown sugar jelly, and topped with condensed milk.

Another new product will be the "Coffee Soft Cream" (500 yen including tax), which is coffee soft cream topped with caramel and Kahlua sauce.
