For the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter collection, Dries van Noten has released a large shawl and top made with long-haired fur.
The top (209,000 yen) is based on a casual sweatshirt, but the protruding woven threads have been cut long to give it a fur-like nuance. The glossy black and dusky pink colors are decadent and artistic.
Additionally, a voluminous fur shawl (66,000 yen) is wrapped around the neck for an accent. It's reversible, with a classic jacquard woven pattern with a floral motif hidden beneath the casual faux fur.
As seen in the collection, this combination eloquently illustrates the season's theme, "The intersection of the worlds of classic couture and casual."
