For the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter collection, Gucci has unveiled shoes that boldly incorporate fur.
Fur has been a trend-setting element for the past few seasons, but this season many brands have incorporated it as a partial or accent piece. Gucci itself has cleverly arranged it on the feet.
The slippers (234,000 yen) feature long, shaggy fur all over, making them the ultimate piece in the collection's use of fur. The design makes the fur appear to be "growing" casually, making a big impact. The look featured them paired with an airy long dress reminiscent of a watercolor painting.
Also available were shoes that combine black leather and fur. The collection includes backstrap pumps with kangaroo fur insoles (4.5cm heel, 141,000 yen), hippie-style clogs with studs (4.5cm heel, 125,000 yen), and slippers with the iconic horsebit (125,000 yen). The clogs and pumps are designed to be easily incorporated into everyday outfits, creating a nonchalant mood from your feet up.
