Following a runway appearance at the first-ever Metaverse Fashion Week, held on the metaverse platform Decentraland on March 25th, ETRO will launch its Spring/Summer 2022 Liquid Paisley capsule collection in the physical world. The complete collection, consisting of clothing, bags, and accessories, will be available at select ETRO boutiques worldwide, including the ETRO Ginza flagship store, as well as on ETRO.com.

Liquid Paisley is a gender-fluid collection that conveys ETRO's open and inclusive vision, showcasing a contemporary interpretation of the brand's iconic paisley motif in a fresh, joyful, and bright color palette of candy pink, emerald green, and sunflower yellow.

Etro's monochrome, tone-on-tone paisley pattern has spread like a tattoo as the brand's new emblem, and is featured on a wide range of products, from sleek coated nylon shirts, Globe-Trotter bags and bucket hats to apparel such as knitwear, denim pants, shorts and T-shirts, as well as the iconic Crown Me Flap bag, and accessories such as mobile and card holders, headbands and paisleyanas.

The collection's genderless approach embodies the brand's energy and positivity. To coincide with the launch, a new digital campaign by photographer and videographer Philippe Jarrigeon will be launched online. Like the CGI presented in the Metaverse, Jarrigeon's videos freely move between the real and the virtual, expressing a pop and playful worldview.

The project's open, flexible vision and inclusive approach aim to break down barriers and preconceived notions. Grounded in Etro's New Bohemian ethos, the campaign conveys a message of love and optimism, while remaining spontaneous and free-spirited. Liquid Paisley's event calendar includes Milan, Madrid, and Seoul. In Japan, there will be special displays at select stores including the Etro Ginza flagship store, as well as pop-up stores at three stores, including Shinjuku Isetan.
