TAG Heuer and Porsche have unveiled the TAG Heuer Carrera x Porsche Limited Edition, a bold timepiece with the ultimate sporty personality, adding a new chapter to the story of their shared adventure.

TAG Heuer and Porsche have forged an unprecedented partnership between a car brand and a watch brand. Following the great success of their first collaboration, the two brands once again embark on the second chapter of their shared story with the launch of this new release. The new TAG Heuer Carrera x Porsche, with its sporty flair, is available as a limited edition.



TAG Heuer and Porsche: A shared history, a shared passion
Both TAG Heuer and Porsche have rich histories and share a common passion for independence, strength and design excellence. For more than 50 years, the histories of TAG Heuer and Porsche have intersected, both on and off the race track. The strong bond between TAG Heuer and Porsche, forged over the years with a foundation in motorsport, shines brightest at this juncture, unmistakably through the Carrera.

The Carrera Panamericana is known as one of the most dangerous races in the world, and it is this legendary race that has had a profound influence on both Porsche and TAG Heuer. Porsche named one of its models Carrera, and Jack Heuer, inspired by the race's beautiful sound, named his new 1963 chronograph Carrera.

Since then, the 911 Carrera and the TAG Heuer Carrera watch have each become legendary, true icons for car and watch enthusiasts the world over.
It was therefore only natural that TAG Heuer and Porsche chose the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph – the ultimate symbol of their shared legacy – to represent their rich partnership.

The iconic TAG Heuer Carrera Sport The chronograph-based TAG Heuer Carrera x Porsche Limited Edition is equipped with the in-house Calibre Heuer 02, delivering exceptional performance. Manufactured at TAG Heuer's Chevenet factory, the movement is comprised of 168 components, including a column wheel and vertical clutch. This combination not only ensures exceptional timekeeping precision, but also an impressive power reserve of approximately 80 hours.


In terms of design, the sporty character of the TAG Heuer Carrera Sport Chronograph is enhanced by the signature Porsche aesthetic. The yellow color is used throughout various elements of this timepiece; it is Porsche's racing yellow, reserved exclusively for the brand's sportiest vehicles. It can be seen on the Porsche logo on the bezel, the crown, the subtle graphic details on the dial, and the seconds hand. It is also present in the Super-LumiNova's fluorescent colors, which give it a striking yellow appearance in the dark. Black is another key color in this limited edition, enhancing the brightness of the yellow through a contrasting effect. To give this timepiece a touch of sporty chic, TAG Heuer and Porsche designers combined different textures of black. The case is crafted from diamond-like carbon (DLC), a highly elegant, deep black that offers unwavering durability. The black dial features a texture inspired by the metallic bodywork of racing cars, adding a shiny effect.

The two black asphalt-effect subdials are a TAG Heuer innovation, also featured on the previous TAG Heuer Carrera x Porsche Chronograph, created in 2021 to officially launch the partnership between TAG Heuer and Porsche.

Another element carried over from the 2021 model is the newly designed rotor, which pays homage to Porsche's famous steering wheel. Clearly visible through the transparent caseback marked "Porsche" and "TAG Heuer," its touches of black and yellow create a perfect harmony with the watch's design.

Finally, the beautiful double-stitched leather strap, inspired by Porsche seat covers and designed for the previous version, returns in an even more spectacular form. In this limited edition, the yellow stitching and lining create a striking contrast with the black leather, and the leather itself has been treated to take on the appearance of a technical fabric, making the finish even more distinctive. This exceptional craftsmanship gives the strap a visually striking effect.


This limited edition model is engraved with "One of 1500" and comes in a special box in the colour of this limited edition. The timepiece will be available in TAG Heuer stores from April 2022.
