Saint Laurent's first flagship store in Japan opens in Omotesando. Limited edition surfboards, only 10 in the world.

Dec 1, 2015

Saint Laurent will open its first flagship store in Japan on December 5th in Omotesando, Tokyo (4-3-10 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo). The interior design is based on white marble, Art Deco, and minimalism. The 1,000-square-meter sales floor spans three floors and offers a full range of women's and men's ready-to-wear, leather goods, and accessories. The store concept and design were created by creative director Hedi Slimane. To commemorate the opening, the brand will also be releasing a limited-edition "Saint Laurent Surfboard" (815,000 yen), with only 10 available worldwide. This item is a collaboration with Los Angeles-born artist Lucia Ribisi, which was introduced in the 2016 Spring/Summer "SURF SOUND" collection. Two designs, "BABY" and "BABYCAT," will be available.
