Yves Saint Laurent's vintage collection gathers at Pass the Baton

Nov 16, 2015

From November 26th to December 27th, PASS THE BATON will be hosting a special event, "My Beloved Yves Saint Laurent," to commemorate the release of the film "Saint Laurent," which depicts the turbulent decade of designer Yves Saint Laurent's life.

PASS THE BATON has long handled vintage Yves Saint Laurent items, primarily from the 1970s and 1980s. This special event will feature an exhibition and sale of Yves Saint Laurent collections collected by celebrities and PASS THE BATON consignors, as well as items from PASS THE BATON's own collection. In addition, purchasers of eligible items will receive a free original Saint Laurent clear file on a first-come, first-served basis.

The film "Saint Laurent" depicts the turbulent decade from 1967, just after Yves Saint Laurent, known as the "Emperor of Fashion," made his global breakthrough. The film depicts the true story of Yves Saint Laurent, which has never been publicly discussed, including the life-threatening suffering and slumps hidden behind his brilliant success. The film was entered in the competition section of the 67th Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for 10 César Awards, the most of any film, and received rave reviews from all over the world, becoming a huge hit in France.
