Tomomi Kunishige, the calligrapher of NHK's Taiga drama, will hold an "English Kanji (Ee Kanji)" exhibition at Shinjuku Isetan

Artist and TV personality Tomomi Kunishige's solo exhibition "Tomomi Kunishige x English Kanji Exhibition" will be held from December 11th to 17th at the Art Gallery on the 5th floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.

Tomomi Kunishige is an artist who creates new ink art that combines kanji and English. She writes kanji using the alphabet of English words that have the same meaning as the kanji, such as writing the kanji character "wa" (harmony) using the alphabet "peAce." This year, she also created the title calligraphy for the NHK Taiga drama "Hana Moyu."
