Swiss luxury watch and jewelry brand Piaget is hosting the "Piaget Altiplano Collection" at the Jewelry & Watch Promotion on the 4th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building from November 25th to December 25th. On the 29th, critic and columnist Goro Yamada will be visiting for a special talk about the collection. Since successfully developing an ultra-thin hand-wound movement in 1957, Piaget has remained a pioneer in the development of thin movements to this day. This collection will feature the world's thinnest hand-wound watch from its flagship watch collection, the Piaget Altiplano, as well as the world's thinnest hand-wound flyback chronograph. The collection will also feature rare jewelry and complication watches from the brand. On November 29th, Goro Yamada will be visiting the same venue for a "Special Talk Show with Goro Yamada" (3:00 PM to 3:45 PM), where he will unravel the history of Altiplano's ultra-thin watch design, which has evolved year by year, the brand story behind its development, the challenges of new technology, and trends in the watch industry.
