Christmas with a skull motif: Lucien Pellat-Finet's first art poster, available exclusively at Isetan Men's

Dec 16, 2015

Lucien Pellat-Finet will be selling his first four art posters, limited to 20 copies each. The four skull motifs featured on the cover of his 2011 art book, "SKULL STYLE: Skulls in Contemporary Art and Design," will be on display and for sale at the brand's pop-up shop on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building from December 16th to 25th. The art posters utilize a Japanese technique known as neo-silk printing, a combination of giclee and silkscreen printing that has recently gained international attention. In collaboration with 360°GRAPHICS, the works are overseen by Itami Hiroshi, who has worked on silkscreen prints for artists including Keiichi Tanaami, who previously collaborated with Lucien on a cashmere sweater, as well as Yoko Ono, Tadanori Yokoo, Yayoi Kusama, Daido Moriyama, Hiro Sugiyama, and Keiji Ito.

He is also known for creating the neo-silk prints for the solo exhibition "WERK: WE WORK TOGETHER" held at Daikanyama T-Site in November 2014 by Singaporean art director Theseus Chan, who is also known for his collaboration with COMME des GARCONS.

The B4 size prints are available in two prices: 150,000 yen and 170,000 yen (both prices include framing, while the unframed versions are 140,000 yen and 160,000 yen), with a limited sale of 20 prints each. The B3 size prints can also be reserved for a limited time only.
