On January 27, 2016, Moët Hennessy Diageo (MHD) will release a limited edition of the cognac "Hennessy X.O Exclusive Collection IX" (26,800 yen), designed by product designer Tom Dixon, at major department stores nationwide.

The "Hennessy X.O Exclusive Collection" is a collaboration series between Moët Hennessy Diageo's iconic cognac, "Hennessy X.O," and contemporary artists. Various artists, including Nick Knight, have previously worked on bottle designs.

This ninth edition features a design by Tom Dixon. Tom Dixon has reinterpreted the original carafe design featuring a cluster of grapes, created by Gerard de Joffre in 1947, in a modern way. The multifaceted characteristics of Hennessy X.O, which is made up of 100 different eaux-de-vie, are expressed through an infinite pixel pattern inspired by seamlessly repeating mosaic patterns.
