HOMME PLISSE ISSEY MIYAKE has announced the "Spring Bug / Lady Bug Accessories Series," a limited-edition collection of original accessories. The collection will be available at REALITY LAB. ISSEY MIYAKE in Aoyama, Tokyo, from January 6, 2016, and at ELTTOB TEP ISSEY MIYAKE / SEMBA in Semba, Osaka, from February 4, 2016.

The theme for HOMME PLISSE ISSEY MIYAKE's SS16 collection is Japanese "stripes." Traditional Japanese stripes are expressed in a simple, modern, and powerful way. The "Spring Bug / Lady Bug Accessories Series" features artist Kazufumi Kobayashi, who has created original accessories that can be coordinated with this season's jacket series.

The limited-edition accessories were inspired by the vitality of insects. The ladybug "Lady Bug Series" (3 types, 12,000 yen) includes hat pins, rings, and tie pins. Additionally, the "Spring Bug Series" (4 types, 8,000 yen) pin badge-style brooch series makes the most of the texture of the materials and uses deep colors to express the ephemeral yet strong beauty of insects.

In addition, each store will also be hosting an installation where you can enjoy Kobayashi's world. The exhibition will run from January 6th to January 27th at REALITY LAB. ISSEY MIYAKE, and from February 4th to February 17th at ELTTOB TEP ISSEY MIYAKE / SEMBA.
