On July 22nd, HOMME PLISSE ISSEY MIYAKE launched a special website for its 2014-2015 Autumn/Winter collection. Capoeira artists wearing the collection's body painting motifs acrobaticly express the brand's concept of "dialogue with the body." The website features a documentary of the visual shoot, seasonal visuals, and details of this season's items worn by the capoeira artists. Information will be updated in August and September. Created by Issey Miyake and the Reality Lab. team, HOMME PLISSE ISSEY MIYAKE is a brand that proposes new everyday wear for modern men, with roots in the development of pleats. It debuted in the 2013-2014 Autumn/Winter collection. Last year, the brand held a special performance with the Aomori University Men's Rhythmic Gymnastics Club. Designed with men in mind, the garments are made with thick textiles and "moisture-wicking, quick-drying" materials that absorb and dry quickly, and are pleated after sewing using a production process known as "product pleating." They are characterized by their light, easy-to-move-in, comfortable fit, and ease of maintenance and portability. They are sold at "REALITY LAB. ISSEY MIYAKE" in Aoyama, Tokyo, and "ELTTOB TEP ISSEY MIYAKE" in Ginza, Tokyo, and Senba, Osaka.
