Matsuya Ginza is holding its Valentine's Day Fair from January 21st, until February 14th.
This year's theme at Matsuya Ginza is "A Luxurious Valentine's Day for Adults." In response to the increasing number of women seeking authentic chocolate in recent years, the store has stocked more luxurious items than ever before. With a focus on the cacao used as an ingredient and a story-telling feel to the manufacturing process, the store is creating an even more luxurious Valentine's Day experience.
From January 28th to February 14th, the "Valentine Patio" will be open in Space of Ginza on the first floor. Valentine's Day gifts from a total of 17 brands will be on sale. Among the brands featured are some world-renowned shops, including La Maison du Chocolat, created by Robert Linx, known as the "ganache magician." The "Sansation Caramel" (15 pieces/5,400 yen) is packed with four types of chocolate, allowing you to enjoy the texture of praline and the unexpected combination of fruit and chocolate. Additionally, Latvian handmade chocolate maker Emilus Guftavs is opening its premium brand Nereula in Japan for the first time. A limited run of 30 boxes of the "Forest Treasure Box" (24,840 yen), an assortment of their signature tablets, truffles, jelly chocolates, and heart chocolates, will be sold. Additionally, Patio will offer tablet chocolates from approximately 30 brands around the world. There are over 200 varieties, including "Peruvian White Cocoa" (1,620 yen) from Musée du Chocolat Theobroma and "Limited Edition" (1,404 yen) from Kopner. There's also a wide selection of "BEAN TO BAR," where chocolatiers use carefully selected cacao beans to create everything from chocolate paste to chocolate paste. Matsuya Ginza's classic "Lucky Pig Chocolate" will be available in eight different brands, and "Ginza Honey Chocolate" in five different brands. Approximately 30 brands will also be offering Valentine's Day gifts at the "GINZA Food Stage" on the first basement floor. For a limited time from January 28th to February 10th, Muni-an will be selling an "Order Tablet" (3,240 yen) that allows customers to choose their own combination of dough and flavor. Original products will also be available at Restaurant City on the eighth floor, so the entire Matsuya Ginza department store is set to be filled with Valentine's Day-themed items. Additionally, from January 28th to February 3rd, talk shows, tastings, and other events will be held daily at the Valentine's Day Patio. The first 7,000 customers who spend over 3,000 yen at Valentine Patio or La Maison du Chocolat will receive a "Lucky Pig" figurine. The online mail-order service, tab Mall, will also be running a campaign offering free chocolates.
