Valentine's Day at Shibuya Hikarie ShinQs, featuring gold medal-winning creations from Paris' Salon du Chocolat

A Valentine's Day promotion will be held at Shibuya Hikarie ShinQs from February 1st to 14th.
During this promotion, various stores, mainly located on the sweets floor on the second basement floor of ShinQs, will be offering Valentine's Day gifts. One of the most noteworthy stores is "Le Chocolat de H," a chocolate specialty shop run by Hiroaki Tsujiguchi, winner of the gold medal at the Salon du Chocolat, the world's largest chocolate festival held in Paris, for two consecutive years. This year, based on the concept of "chocolate that speaks to human DNA," the store will offer "C.C.C. DNA Chocolat" (4 pieces/1,901 yen), featuring Japanese ingredients such as kelp, shiso, and sesame as flavors.
In addition, "Pâtisserie Sadaharu Aoki Paris" will be directly importing award-winning creations from Paris by Sadaharu Aoki, who also won the gold medal and the Best Chocolatier award at the Salon du Chocolat. The chocolate assortment "AOKI2015" (6 pieces/2,916 yen) will feature homemade pralines made with Spanish almonds and Italian hazelnuts. It will also feature ganaches made with Kochi-grown yuzu and Criollo cacao, showcasing the flavors of carefully selected ingredients. Pierre Marcolini will also be releasing "Cool Selection" (7 pieces/2,621 yen), a new flavor of Marcolini's iconic Valentine's Day chocolate, "Cool Framboise." Yoroizuka Farm Tokyo will be releasing "Trois Décussion - Three Tastings" (2,401 yen), a trio of flavors that allow you to enjoy different cacao roasting times, and Libertable will be offering "Truffle Chocolat au Truffle Noir" (2 pieces/from 864 yen), which allows you to enjoy the rich aroma of black truffles. During the promotion period, events will be held that are inspired by the Western Valentine's Day custom of giving flowers to women. Valentine's Day bouquets will be available at Aoyama Flower Market, Hibiya Kadan Style, and other locations.
