Each bookstore will act as a concierge, recommending "must-read books" to FASHION HEADLINE readers. Every Friday, Daikanyama T-Site (17-5 Sarugaku-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) will introduce a book selected by the store.

■ "CIRCLE" Cooking & Text: Yoshihiro Imai, Planning & Photography: Yuka Yanagizume

This photo book features the artistic dishes created by Chef Yoshihiro Imai, who served as chef at Italian restaurant Emboca Kyoto for three years after its opening.

Imai pursues the quality of the ingredients themselves, respects the nature that nurtures them, and serves dishes that are like nature itself on a plate. As Imai says, "Cooking is one of the few remaining connections between people and nature," this book goes beyond "delicious eating" and offers a glimpse into larger themes such as "the relationship between people and nature." The end of the book includes recipes and English translations.
