
adidas Originals will release the "Superstar 80s Vintage Deluxe Pack" on January 24th. This Superstar 80s sneaker, redesigned for the first time in seven years, features a premium leather upper. Other details faithfully recreate the original model, including the rubber shell toe, side panels with ventilation holes, and suede Silly Stripes and heel patch. The iconic finish, including the shining golden emblem on the tongue, is also a highlight. The color palette is black, navy, red, and green. To coincide with the release, window displays celebrating the redesign of this legendary sneaker will be set up at stores in Harajuku, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and elsewhere. Additionally, participating stores are running a must-buy campaign, where customers who spend ¥15,000 or more on products including "adidas Originals" will receive an "adidas Originals Superstar 2015 Desk Calendar Set."
In addition to the "Superstar 80s," various "Superstar" items will be released throughout the year this year. The global campaign, "#OriginalSuperstar," will feature advertising campaigns featuring Pharrell Williams, David Beckham, Rita Ora, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and more. The content of the campaign questions "what it means to be a superstar," and the campaign video includes messages from these artists.
