Popular American character SpongeBob SquarePants and A BATHING APE are collaborating for the second time, with the theme of "reunion." In the 2008 collaboration, SpongeBob and his best friend Patrick came to visit the world of A BATHING APE's gorilla-inspired mascot, Baby Milo®, but this time Baby Milo® will be visiting Bikini Bottom, the underwater city where SpongeBob lives. An in-store event will also be held at the BAPE STORE in Shibuya on August 16th.

A variety of playful items will be released on August 16th, including a Baby Milo(R) doll wearing a SpongeBob Squarepants headgear (¥12,800), character T-shirts (¥7,000 for adults, ¥5,200 for children), character-print crew necks (¥17,800 for adults, ¥12,800 for children), full-zip hoodies (¥27,800 for adults, ¥16,800 for children), and a SpongeBob and Baby Milo(R) iPhone case (¥6,000).

SpongeBob is a yellow, square sea sponge who lives in the underwater city of Bikini Bottom. He lives a happy life with his friends, including starfish Patrick, squirrel Sandy, and pet snail Gary. In the United States, the series has been the number one children's animated television series in viewership ratings for over 10 years.
