The "JIAM 2016 OSAKA International Apparel Machinery & Textile Industry Trade Fair" will be held at INTEX Osaka for four days, from April 6th to 9th, 2016.
The "International Apparel Machine Show," which has been held 10 times since 1984, has been given a new name and will serve as a venue for exhibiting and exchanging information on not only the core apparel and clothing processing fields but also textile processing in general. The exhibition will have 1,300 booths and an area of 24,930 square meters, and is expected to attract 30,000 visitors, including 5,000 from overseas, primarily from Asia.
This year's theme is "Innovative Solutions and Advanced Processing Technologies," and the event will bring together technologies, know-how, equipment, materials, products, information, and services related to the apparel and textile industries, clothing, and living spaces. The number of exhibits will be expanded from 16 to 20, including categories such as CAD/CAM, embroidery/printing, home sewing, auxiliary materials, materials, textile-related equipment, automobile/aircraft-related products, interior design, clothing accessories/lifestyle goods, education/human resource development, and information services.
